According to data from the ECI, the NDA alliance was leading in the majority of seats in the 2024 Andhra Pradesh election results. As part of a seat-sharing agreement among NDA partners, the TDP contested 17 Lok Sabha seats, the BJP fielded candidates in 6 seats, and the Janasena Party contested 2 seats. The ECI data shows that the TDP won 12 seats and was leading in 4 more. The BJP secured 2 seats and was ahead in 1 seat, while the Janasena Party was leading in 2 seats. The YSRCP won 4 Lok Sabha seats.
The NDA alliance won a total of 164 seats, with the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) securing 135 seats, the Janasena Party (JNP) winning 21 seats, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) gaining 8 seats. The opposition Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) was defeated, securing only 11 seats.
Odisha's 21 constituencies voted in four phases from May 13 to June 1 for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The BJP won 78 out of 147 seats, securing victory for the first time in Odisha and defeating the Biju Janata Dal (BJD), which secured only 51 seats. The halfway mark to form the government in the 147-member Odisha Legislative Assembly is 74 seats. Although the BJP has yet to announce a candidate, the new Chief Minister of Odisha is expected to take the oath on June 10.
