He begun his writing profession by working as a journalist for the weekly publications Ananda Vikatan and Vikatan Online Magazine. He authored feature articles on several societal matters. His portfolio encompasses coverage of the Thuthukudi firing incident in 2019, the demise of an ambitious student named Dr. Anita, and various other subjects. The series 'Theivathaan aahatheninum' documented stories that captivated the curiosity of the viewers. In 2017, he authored his debut novel titled "Pettai," which was released by Kalachuvadu Publications. Tamizh Praba worked as a radio jockey at Rainbow FM for a period of two years.

American daily newspaper The New York Times listed 'Sarpatta Parambarai' as one of "the five best International films to stream on digital platforms".
