Mumbai: A high-energy song for Salman Khan’s much-anticipated film *Sikandar* is currently being filmed at Royal Gold Studios in Film City, Goregaon. A production source revealed that the idea for the song came up suddenly, but both Salman and producer Sajid Nadiadwala felt it would be a perfect way to grab the audience’s attention.
The song, which is being shot on a grand scale, is expected to play a significant role in the film’s promotional campaign. It is not just another routine track but a visual spectacle designed to leave an impact. If everything goes as planned, the shoot will wrap up within a week, marking the official completion of *Sikandar* by director AR Murugadoss.
Initially, the team had planned a two-day shoot in Rajkot, but the scenes were later shifted to Mumbai. The source emphasized how music has always been a major element in Salman’s films. Hit songs like *Jumme Ki Raat* and *Swag Se Swagat* have set high expectations, and this new track is expected to follow in their footsteps.
* Sikandar*, featuring Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead, was initially set to finish filming earlier. However, the schedule has now been extended to March 8 to accommodate the song’s shoot.
The film is slated for an Eid 2025 release, but the exact date remains unconfirmed. Reports suggest that the makers might break tradition by skipping the usual Friday release and instead opting for a Sunday launch.
With the final leg of shooting underway, excitement for *Sikandar* continues to build and fans are eagerly awaiting Salman Khan’s next big-screen spectacle.
