YouTuber BeerBiceps, also known as Ranveer Allahbadia, has disclosed that he almost drowned while swimming in Goa and that an IPS officer and his IRS wife had to save him. Yesterday, the podcast host posted on Instagram about his experience. According to Ranveer, he and his fiancée were whisked away by an undersea current while swimming in the open sea.
At this point, we are doing well. Ranveer posted on Instagram on Christmas Day, saying, "But my girlfriend and I had to be rescued from a bit of a situation yesterday around 6:00 pm or so." The YouTuber claimed that he had always enjoyed swimming in the open sea since he was a kid. However, on December 24, while swimming in the Goan sea, he and his girlfriend were carried away by an underwater current.
Ranveer claimed that before he asked for help, he battled for five to ten minutes and began to lose consciousness. Fortunately for him and his partner, a family swimming nearby immediately rescued him. “A casual, fun dip in the waves was interrupted by an underwater current that toppled both of us. The next thing we knew was that we were both struggling to stay afloat,” the YouTuber wrote.
Fans of Ranveer Allahbadia flooded social media with messages of relief and support. Many commended the IPS officer’s bravery and emphasized the importance of water safety.
“Glad you’re safe, Ranveer. This is a wake-up call for all of us to be cautious around water,” one follower wrote. Another added, “Kudos to the officer for his heroic act!”
Known for his motivational content, Ranveer reflected on the experience as a reminder of life’s unpredictability. “It was a scary moment, but it taught me to never underestimate the power of nature and to always be prepared,” he shared.
