The story revolves around Bob, a real estate investor, and his spouse Nimisha going on a road trip. The couple heads toward Nimisha so they can meet her parents. The pair is very excited about their first visit from Bob, who is also paying Nimisha's parents a visit. Though everything seems picture-perfect, their trip is altered when Bob's car breaks down in a lonely stretch of the highway. Bob requests assistance from a tow truck at the same moment that a mysterious driver on the same route offers to help. Bob asks the man if there are any hotels nearby since Nimisha needs to use the restroom. The nearest gas station with restrooms is mentioned by the man. Nimisha accepts to go to the gas station with the stranger.
Things take a very confusing turn from this point on. Nimisha abruptly disappears. Bob, in a state of despair, calls the local police for help. Interestingly, there's no evidence to suggest his wife was with him on the trip. Even the man who volunteered to help Bob drive now claims he's never seen Nimisha. The mystery doesn't end here. When Nimisha's parents are contacted by the police, her mother claims that she never knew Bob.
