Interestingly, Bollywood stars Sonakshi Sinha, Anurag Kashyap, Emraan Hashmi, and Adarsh Gourav will be making their Telugu debuts, a sign of the industry's growing popularity.
Sonakshi Sinha will make her Telugu debut with the horror thriller "Jatadhara," starring Sudheer Babu and directed by Venkat Kalyan. The movie is being termed as a mix of mythology and the supernatural.
Anurag Kashyap will be making his Telugu debut in the action drama "Dacoit," featuring Adivi Sesh and Mrunal Thakur. Kashyap features as a bold cop in the movie, which is being produced simultaneously in Hindi and Telugu by director Shaneil Deo.
Emraan Hashmi is ready to debut in Telugu cinema with "OG," starring Pawan Kalyan. Hashmi will be essaying the character of gangster Omi Bhau in the action thriller directed by Sujeeth. The movie, which was initially scheduled for release in September 2024, got postponed due to production problems.
Adarsh Gourav, whose claim to fame is playing the lead role in "The White Tiger," is exploring Telugu cinema with a new film. Gourav, who hails from a Telugu-speaking family, was upbeat about making a career in the industry and has started shooting for his first project.
