In connection with the murder of a woman in a stampede during a Pushpa 2 The Rule screening, Hyderabad Police have detained the well-known Telugu actor, Allu Arjun. A stampede-like situation occurred at the Hyderabad theatre on December 4th during the presentation of his most recent film, Pushpa 2: The Rule. The tragedy claimed the life of a 35-year-old lady, and her nine-year-old son was admitted to the hospital after suffocating.
Allu Arjun was arrested by a group of police officers from Hyderabad's Chikkadpally police station after they visited his home in Jubilee Hills. According to the authorities, he was taken to the police station to be questioned.
On the evening of December 4, a sizable number of fans flocked to the Sandhya Theatre at the crowded RTC Crossroads in hopes of catching a glimpse of the actor. According to the police, the dead has been identified as as Revathi. Her son Sri Teja, who also suffocated and is receiving treatment in a hospital and is recovering, was with her. On the basis of the deceased's family's complaint, police said that a case was filed against the actor, his security detail, and the theatre management at the Chikkadpally police station under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
At a Pushpa 2 screening on Monday, a second fan passed away in a strange coincidence. The theater's cleaning crew discovered 35-year-old Harijana Madhannappa dead on Monday at around 6 p.m., Kalyandurgam Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Ravi Babu informed PTI. The authorities are still investigating the cause of his death. He had gone to the movie drunk to the matinee screening in Rayadurgam at around 2:30 pm.
Actor Allu Arjun was placed under 14 days of judicial prison in relation to the death of a woman at Hyderabad's Sandhya Theatre on December 4, but the Telangana High Court granted him temporary bail on Friday.
