The Tamil Nadu State Board released the much-anticipated results for the Class 12 exams earlier this week, and the news is positive! With a phenomenal pass percentage of 94.56%, the state has witnessed a remarkable achievement in student performance.
Girls continue to outshine their male counterparts, with a pass rate of 96.44% compared to 92.37% for boys. This is a testament to the state's ongoing efforts to promote girls' education.
There's even more reason to celebrate! Computer Science emerged as the clear champion with a staggering pass percentage of 99.8%, highlighting the growing interest in this dynamic field. Chemistry followed closely behind at an impressive 99.14%.
This year also saw a significant number of schools achieve a perfect 100% pass rate. A total of 2,478 out of 7,532 higher secondary schools managed this remarkable feat, showcasing the dedication of both teachers and students.
Individual brilliance was also on display. In Mathematics, 2,587 students scored a perfect 100%, while Physics and Chemistry saw 633 and 471 students achieve the same level of excellence, respectively.
