Principal Expelled at Bishop Johnson School Prayagraj: Startling Video Captures Chair Robbery

Social media users are outraged by a troubling video that shows a contentious leadership change at Bishop Johnson Girls School in Prayagraj. The video depicts the new principal taking over for the outgoing one after she was forcibly removed from her seat.

Netizens have expressed fury over the 2.20-minute video, which was published by user @SamiratmajM on 'X' and has received 199.1K views.

In the footage, a number of people, one of whom is the chairman of the school, can be seen entering the office of the principal and demanding that she step down from her position. Although it seems as though the former principal is putting up a fight, she is eventually dragged out of her chair and her phone is taken away from her. The newly appointed principal is then seated in the chair, who is greeted with applause from all who are there.

The caption accompanying the video states, "This is the scene of Bishop Johnson Girls School in Prayagraj, where the change of principal happens in a similar way...the principal's chair is snatched away, and the new principal is made to sit on the chair." Concerns have been raised through the occurrence regarding the administration of the school as well as the way in which its staff is treated.

On social media, users are expressing their outrage, describing the act as "shameful" and "disturbing."

One of the users made the following observation: "Schools have become places of business, and principals are degraded." When education is treated as a commodity, these are the results that occur.

An additional commenter pointed out, "Such anarchy is common in Christian missionary institutions, where power is prioritized over education."
