The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) also known as Tata Institute Bangalore has launched a new short course titled "Intelligent Monte Carlo Simulations and Machine Learning-Based Methods in Computational Structural Reliability." This program is designed for professionals working in various fields, including:
1.Faculty members from engineering colleges with specialization in civil, mechanical, aerospace, and automotive engineering.
2. Research scholars studying uncertainty quantification in structural engineering.
3.Scientists working in research laboratories.
4.Industrial practitioners in structural engineering, aerospace and defense applications, railway and highway engineering, and automotive engineering, particularly those dealing with uncertainties in loading and structural systems.
The course aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to apply advanced computational methods for structural reliability analysis. This will involve exploring intelligent Monte Carlo simulations and machine learning-based techniques.
Eligibility and Fees
The program is open to current professionals and aspiring candidates in the aforementioned fields. The fee for students is Rs. 5,000 plus 18% GST.
