The first round of the Canada Express Entry draw welcomes 4300 candidates and 500 more under the Healthcare category. STEM invitations will be distributed on July 5.
On June 27, Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) announced the invitation of 4,300 candidates to the fifteenth Express Entry lottery of 2023. To qualify, candidates needed to achieve at least 486 points on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). A similar draw was previously performed on June 8, inviting 4,800 candidates with the identical CRS cut-off score.
The Comprehensive Ranking System of Express Entry is used to manage skilled worker applications. The candidates are ranked based on their CRS ratings. It assesses the candidate's (and, if relevant, their spouse or partner's) human capital. The Canadian government invites the highest-scoring individuals to immigrate to Canada.
