As a prelude to a significant milestone in this year's calendar — India hosting the International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session for the first time since 1983, and amid talk of Indian interest in hosting a future edition of the Olympic Games — Film Heritage Foundation, in collaboration with the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, presents Olympics in Reel Life - A Festival of Films and Photographs, a first-of-its-kind two-week-long festival of Olympic films and BookASmile, BookMyShow's charitable endeavour, Qube Cinema Technologies, the Abhinav Bindra Foundation, and Hyperlink are all supporting the event.

The festival is divided into three sections:

A festival of 33 films and 10 series: Dating back to 1912, curated from the Olympic Museum's collection, including official Olympic Games films by celebrated directors such as Kon Ichikawa, Milos Forman, Carlos Saura, Len Riefenstahl, and John Schlesinger, as well as Olympic Channel series about India's Olympic journey.

Olympism Made Visible- It is an international photography project that examines the role of sport in society and as a catalyst for social progress and peace, showcasing the work of notable photographers such as Poulomi Basu, Dana Lixenberg, and Lorenzo Vitturi.

Indians in the Olympics- Famous images that will cast a spotlight on Indian athletes at the Olympics for decades.

Legendary superstar Amitabh Bachchan, Abhinav Bindra – Olympic gold medalist, Aparna Popat – two-time Olympian and badminton champion, M.M.
